Maximilian Marterer from Germany will play against Slovenian Alyazh Bedene in the 1/64 finals of Wimbledon.

In the quarterfinals of qualifying, Marterer beat Juan Pablo Varillas of Peru in three sets – 6:2; 1:6; 6:4. In the semifinals Maximilian was stronger than the Italian Andrea Pellegrino – 7:5; 6:3. And in the qualifying final, Marterer was stronger than Nikolos Moreno from the USA – 7:6 (7:2); 7:6 (13:11); 6:3.
Alaj Bedene and Maximilian Marterer played together in 2019 at the ATP clay tournament in Argentina. Then in the 1/16 finals Bedene was stronger in two sets – 6:3; 6:4.
Forecast
In this match, Maximilian Marterer is considered by bookmakers to be a small outsider. At the same time, the German is now in better shape and has already got used to the courts of Wimbledon, and therefore it is quite possible to take a risk and bet on Marterer.
