The 22-year-old Italian representative also shows very confident tennis in Miami and is moving towards the coveted title. The day before yesterday, in the quarterfinals of the tournament, Sinner played a very good match and easily beat Tomas Makhach from the Czech Republic in two sets – 6:4; 6:2. At the very beginning of the match, the tennis players exchanged breaks. Further, in the middle of the set, with the score 3:3 in games, Sinner made the second break and led with a score of 5:3. After that, Yannick calmly submitted for the game. At the very beginning of the second set, Sinner could have made a break, but the Italian missed the advantage in the game on the opponent's serve from the score of 40:15. Next, from the score 1:1 in games, Yannick added and made two consecutive breaks at once, which allowed him to reach the score of 5:1. After that, the Italian calmly closed the game with a big difference. The tennis players spent one hour and thirty-five minutes on the court.
Yannick Sinner and Daniil Medvedev have been playing quite often lately, but the Italian has won the last four matches. The last time Yannick beat Daniil was in the Australian Open final on January 28. Then in Melbourne, the Italian won a strong-willed victory in five sets – 3:6; 3:6; 6:4; 6:4; 6:3.
