In the third set, the tennis players first exchanged breaks, then immediately Yastremskaya made a second break in a row, which allowed her to reach the score of 4:1. For a while, Dayana acted competently on her serve, but still, when it came to serving for the match, she made a mistake and allowed Kirsta to win back. However, then Yastremskaya played very well and made the third break for the set, which allowed her to win it with a score of 6:4.

Zhang Shuai and Dayana Yastremskaya played together twice. So far, there is a temporary draw in this confrontation. The last time the tennis players played among themselves in 2019 at Wimbledon, then Zhang was stronger in three sets – 6:4; 1:6; 6:2.
