Leiknir will host Stjarnan in the 13th round of the Icelandic championship. On whose side will luck turn out to be?
"Leiknir" continues to be in search of stability. In the previous four rounds, there was an alternation of victories with defeats. These swings began with a loss to "Keblavik" (0-1), and then the results were as follows: a 2-1 victory over "Vikingur Reykjavik", a 0-4 defeat from "Breidablik" and a 2-0 victory over "Akranes". Such sharp changes in the results led to the fact that "Leiknir" scored 14 points and is located in seventh place.
Although Stjarnan has been performing more consistently lately, they were left without points in the last round, as they suffered a 2-3 home defeat against Keblavik. If "Stjarnan" managed to replenish the points piggy bank to the maximum extent, it would have risen to the sixth position, and so remained with 13 points and dropped to the ninth line. Before the defeat, "Stjarnan" performed confidently, having won three victories with two draws.
