This Sunday, the race will take place at the British Grand Prix, as part of the tenth stage of the Formula 1 World Championship. This race weekend has made history, because on Saturday the first qualifying race for 100 km was held here, in which Max Verstappen managed to win.
In the main event of the stage, we should also expect a triumph of the Dutchman. Max has been dominating the championship in recent months, moving towards his debut world title. In the qualifying race, he started second, but already before the first corner passed Hamilton, and in the future did not leave Lewis any chances to fight for victory, gradually moving away from the current champion, stamping the best laps. It is difficult to imagine how Hamilton can win at this home stage – even the most successful tactical decisions of Mercedes are unlikely to help here. The Dutchman is now able to win even with a solid margin.
It is also hardly worth hoping for a Verstappen rally. Recently, all Formula 1 teams are characterized by stable reliability, and drivers rarely attack on the verge of a foul, so accidents also occur extremely rarely. So it is reasonable to bet that there should not be more than two gatherings on a safe track in Silverpstone. And the safety car, quite possibly, will not have a reason to go on the highway.
From the duels, I suggest playing on Giovinazzi against Raikkonen. The Italian looks more stable than the experienced Finn this season, and he is quite capable of winning back only two positions, relative to the starting alignment.
