As part of the friendly match, the players of Torpedo Moscow and SKA Khabarovsk will play face to face. Will the favorite be able to win this match?
In the last season of the FNL, Torpedo Moscow was finally able to take the first place, which allowed the club to enter the RPL and meet the expectations of fans. The team from the Russian capital was ahead by only 1 point of "Torch" and "Orenburg", making their fans nervous at the finish. However, the end result was positive. In the preseason, Muscovites have already played 5 friendly matches, in which they have never lost. Torpedo fighters were able to defeat Yenisei (2:1), Tekstilshchik (3:1) and Neftekhimik (2:1), and also painted the world with the same Tekstilshchik and Volgar.
Needless to say, Khabarovsk SKA was one step away from entering the RPL. At the end of the season in the FNL, "army men" from the Far East were able to take the fourth place, finishing the season on the 4th line. The team played play-off matches with Khimki. In the first meeting, the Khabarovsk residents were able to defeat the opponent on their own field with a score of 1-0, after which they deafeningly lost to the Khimki with a score of 0:3 away, which left the club in the best league in the world for at least one more season. In the offseason, the team played 2 friendly matches, managing to win over Shinnik (3:0), and losing in a face-to-face match to Yenisei (0:2).
Statistics and figures:
- Torpedo is the favorite of the meeting;
- Muscovites have a 14-match winless streak;
- SKA has 2 wins in 5 matches;
- The last face-to-face meeting of the opponents ended with a score of 0:0.
I assume that Torpedo in its current form will be able to defeat the opponent. The teams approach the match in the status of the favorite, and they will try to justify this fact in the match against Khabarovsk.
