In the 1/64 finals match at the WTA tournament in Indian Wells, representatives of Hungary Anna Bondar will play against Petra Martic from Croatia.
Anna Bondar
The 23-year-old representative of Hungary last week performed at a tournament in Lyon, where she was able to show good results. In the 1/16 finals, Bondar beat Yuriko-Lily Miyazaki in three sets – 6:7 (5:7); 6:3; 7:5. In the 1/8 finals, Anna played against the representative of Great Britain Katie Boulter. In this meeting, Bondar won the first set with a score of 6:3, and then Boulter refused to continue the fight due to injury, as a result, Anna went further down the grid. But already in the quarterfinals, Bondar could not cope with Romanian Sorana-Michaela Kirstey - 3:6; 3:6.
Petra Martich
The 31-year-old representative of Croatia, in turn, performed at the WTA tournament in Monterrey last week. In the 1/16 finals, Martich made a sensation and beat the representative of the USA Madison Keys, who played with a shoulder injury – 5:7; 7:6 (7:3); 6:3. But already in the 1/8 finals, Petra quite predictably could not cope with Maria Buzkova from the Czech Republic - 4:6; 2:6.
Forecast
Bookmakers consider Petra Martic to be the favorite in this match, however, we believe that the tennis players are now at about the same level, and therefore it is quite possible to take a risk and bet on Cooper.
