In the quarterfinals of the challenger in Columbus, we are waiting for an interesting confrontation between Americans Jenson Brooksby and Ernesto Escobedo.

The 25-year-old Escobedo looked a bit heavy in the 1/8 finals match yesterday, but he still managed to beat his compatriot Ulysses Blanch in two sets. In the first set, the tennis players held their serve very well, in the end they reached the tie-break, where Escobedo still turned out to be better – 7:6 (10:8). In the second set, the game did not change, the tennis players worked well on their serve, but at the end of the game Escobedo was able to make a break and eventually win it with a score of 6:4.
Jenson Brooksby
21-year-old Brooksby, in turn, fairly confidently dealt with Denis Istomiy from Uzbekistan in the 1/8 finals yesterday, but we expected exactly something like this. In the first set, Istomin still tried to resist somehow, but in the end, Brooksby was still able to make a break and win the game with a score of 7:5. But Istomin was not enough for the second set and Brooksby eventually won a crushing victory with a score of 6:1, while Jenson was able to make three breaks.
Ernesto Escobedo and Jenson Brooksby played together in 2019. On the hard in the challenger in the American Aptos, Escobedo won a crushing victory in two sets – 6:2; 6:2.
Forecast
At the moment, everything has changed and a couple of years later, Brooksby noticeably added, but Escobedo's game now does not look very convincing. We believe that Brooksby has a much better chance of winning this match, and therefore we offer to bet on his victory.
