In the 1/16 finals of the clay challenger in Spain, Ukrainian tennis player Eric Vanshelboim will play against Timo Stodder from Germany.

In Antalya, Stodder reached the final of the tournament, where he lost to Italian Alexander Weiss in two sets – 4:6; 4:6. This game was on November 20.

In the semi-finals of the selection, Vanschelboim had a difficult match, but in three sets he managed to beat the Spaniard Ignacy De Rueda De Genover – 7:6 (7:3); 4:6; 7:5. And yesterday in the qualifying final Eric made a sensation in two sets beat Rudolf Mellecker from Germany – 6:3; 6:2. In the first set, Vanshelboim started very strongly and made three consecutive breaks, however, Eria did not succeed in a simple game, since from the score 4:0 the Ukrainian tennis player lost a game twice in a row on his serve. After that, Vanshelboim stabilized his game and eventually took the set. At the very beginning of the second game, Eric again made a break and went out to score 2-0 in games. And in the middle of the game, Vanshelboim made another break and went out to score 5:1 in games. After that, Eric easily brought the match to victory. The tennis players spent one hour and twenty-five minutes on the court.
