In the 1/8 finals of the challenger in Camper, Canadian Vashek Pospisil will play against Slovakian Lukasz Latsko.
Vashek Pospisil
The 31-year-old Pospisil played another difficult match for himself in the 1/16 finals. The Canadian played against the Frenchman Mathias Bourque. In the first set, Vashek showed a stable game and won the set with a score of 6:3. But in the second batch, he already had failures. As a result, Pospisil lost two games in a set on his serve, which of course is often unusual for a Canadian. Also, Burke did not refuse such gifts and in the end the Frenchman won the set with a score of 6:4. At the very beginning of the third set, Pospisil almost lost the game again on his serve, but Vashek was able to hold it, and then gradually begin to put pressure on Brook. As a result, Pospisil still squeezed Mathias and won the set with a score of 6:4.
Lukasz Latsko
34-year-old Latsko, in turn, played against German Mats Moraing in the 1/16 finals the day before yesterday. The match for Latsko turned out to be less intense, but still far from passing. Lukash won the first game with one break with a score of 6:3. In the second set, it already turned out that at the end of the game, Latsko himself lost the game on his serve and at some point began to "burn" 3:5. But here the Slovak was able to show his fighting character and make two breaks in a row, and together with a competent game on his serve, all this led to the fact that Latsko not only pulled the set, but also won it with a score of 7:5.
Between themselves, Vasik Pospisil and Lukasz Latsko played in 2018 at the US Open. Then the Canadian was in better shape, and therefore easily won in three sets – 7:5; 6:3; 6:2.
Forecast
Given that both tennis players primarily bet on their serve, we can expect a protracted match here, and therefore we propose to bet more than 22.5 games on the total.
