In the 1/64 finals of Wimbledon, Frenchmen Benoit Peer and Kentin Alice will play against each other.
Benoit Peer
The 33-year-old Peer approached Wimbledon in very bad shape. Benoit has lost four matches in a row, and last week he couldn't even play a full match at the dirt challenger in Milan. In the 1/16 finals, the Peer played one set against Russian tennis player Alexey Vatutin – 6:7 (6:8) and the subsequent refusal of Benoit due to injury.
Kenten Alice
25-year-old Alice, in turn, failed to qualify for the ATP tournament in Majorca last week. In the semi-finals of the qualification, Kenten won a strong -willed victory over Russian tennis player Andrey Kuznetsov in a hard struggle – 6:7 (3:7); 6:1; 7:6 (7:4). And in the final Alice was defeated by Jordan Thompson from Australia – 2:6; 0:6.
Between themselves, Benoit Peer and Kenten Alice played in 2018 at the ATP tournament in Metz. Then on the hard in the 1/16 finals, the Peer was stronger in two sets – 7:6 (7:4); 6:2.
Forecast
Kenten Alice is considered a clear favorite by bookmakers in this match. But we see that both tennis players are in bad shape and a more experienced Peer will have chances to impose a fight, and therefore we suggest that you put more than 16.5 games on Benoit's individual total.
