Russian tennis players Ekaterina Alexandrova and Daria Kasatkina will play in the 1/8 finals of the WTA tournament in the Czech Republic.

In the 1/16 finals, Daria also played not the easiest match, but she managed to beat Emma Radukana from Great Britain in two sets – 7:5; 6:4. Kasatkina immediately made a break at the start of the match, but soon Daria lost her minimal advantage. With the score 4:4 in games, the tennis players exchanged breaks, and then Daria made a second break in a row (the third in a set). After that, Kasatkina easily filed for a set. In the second set, Daria was limited to only one break in the middle of the game, and due to competent work on her serve, Kasatkina calmly took the game. The tennis players spent an hour and a half on the court.

Daria Kasatkina and Ekaterina Alexandrova last played together on June 15 at the WTA tournament in Berlin. In the 1/8 finals on the grass Kasatkina made a sensation and won a strong-willed victory in three sets – 5:7; 6:1; 6:1.
