In the final of the qualification for the ATP-250 tournament in Antwerp, Russian tennis player Alexei Vatutin will play against Frenchman Manuel Ginard.

The 28-year-old representative of France made a small sensation yesterday. In the semi-finals of qualifying, Ginard beat Mikael Girtz of Belgium in two sets – 7:6 (7:4); 6:4. In the first set, with the score already 2:2 in games, Manuel saved the game on his serve from the score of 15:40. Further, with the score 5:4 in games, Ginard could already make an extremely important break for himself, but the Frenchman now missed the advantage in the game on the opponent's serve from the score of 40:15. The set eventually turned out to be protracted, and then it came to a tie-break. Ginard played more steadily in the tiebreak and thus the Frenchman closed a difficult game in his favor. In the second set, already with the score 1:1 in games, Ginard made an important break for himself, then Manuel saved the game on his serve from the score 0:40 and thus the representative of France came to the score 3:1 in games. However, already with the score 3:2 in games, Ginar lost the game on his serve and allowed Girtz to win back. In the middle of the set, with the score 4-4 in games, Manuel made the second break, and then the representative of France confidently served for the match. The tennis players spent one hour and fifty minutes on the court.
At the moment, Manuel Ginar is ranked 287th in the ATP rankings.
Alexey Vatutin
The 31-year-old Russian tennis player, in turn, made a much bigger sensation yesterday. In the semi–finals of the qualification, Vatutin unexpectedly beat the much more statuesque Yannick Hanfmann from Germany in two sets - 6:4; 6:2. The tennis players spent one hour and fifteen minutes on the court.
Alexey Vatutin and Manuel Ginard played together on February 13, 2019 at the challenger in Cherbourg. Then on hard Vatutin won a landslide victory in two sets – 6:3; 6:2.
Forecast
In this match, Manuel Ginar is considered a clear favorite by the bookmakers. However, with the right attitude, the Russian tennis player is quite capable of fighting for victory in this confrontation.
