In the group stage, Mozambique won in all three rounds, beating Egypt (7-5), Seychelles (7-3) and Morocco (2-1) in turn, then defeated Uganda (6-3) in the semifinals, and lost to Senegal 1-4 in the final.
Spain
Spain also passed through the qualifying stage for the World Cup, but performed better than Mozambique - took first place. In the final match, the Spaniards beat the Ukrainians with a score of 5-2, and before that they won four victories in five games. In the group stage, they defeated the Norwegians (8-0) and coped with the Poles (6-6 in regular time and 1-0 in extra time), and also lost 3-4 to Belarus. As for the playoffs, in the quarterfinals Spain was stronger than Italy (4-4 in regular time and 1-0 in extra time), in the semifinals it won against Belarus (3-1) and in the final, as already mentioned above, it outplayed the Ukrainians.
