The women's national teams of Angola and Japan will meet in one of the matches of the 4th round of the group stage of the OI-2020. A confident victory of the hosts of the Olympics?
Angola (w)
Angola still retains theoretical chances of getting out of the group, but it will be incredibly difficult to implement them in practice. And there are practically no prerequisites for this, because the Angolan women's national team is the only one in Group A who has not scored points yet. In the first round there was a defeat from Montenegro (22-33), in the second from Norway (21-30), and in the third from the Netherlands (28-37). With zero points, Angola is in the last sixth place and is two points behind the playoff zone.
Japan (w)
The Japanese women are also not performing in the best way, but they managed to get hold of one victory, which significantly increases their chances of reaching the playoffs. There was the same victory in the confrontation with Montenegro (29-26), and in the other two matches there were defeats: 21-32 from the Netherlands and 24-27 from South Korea. Now Japan closes the leading four, having two points, as well as Montenegro, which is in the fifth position.
