In the opening round, the Spaniards had to try pretty hard to get three points, because the opponent, which was Germany, put up serious resistance and even managed to win 13-12 in the first half, but in the second he failed to develop success, losing 14-16, and a total of 27-28. The victory once again exposed the problems of the Spaniards in defense - for four matches they have not conceded less than 27 goals.
Norway
Before the start of the Olympic Games, the Norwegians gave out a number of confident matches, which were accompanied by positive results: six wins with one draw. Many people were thinking about whether the Norwegians would be able to transfer a confident game to more responsible duels - as it turned out, they could. Although not without difficulty, we managed to beat the Brazilian national team (27-24) and win the first victory at the Olympics.
