In another match of the fifth round of the A-League, Poland and the Netherlands will face off. Will the owners be able to impose a fight?
Poland
Poland successfully started the group stage, beating the old team of Wales (2-1) on its field, but performed very modestly in the next three matches, gaining only one point. In the matches with Belgium, the Poles remained without points, losing 1-6 and 0-1, and between these losses was a draw with the Netherlands (2-2). Four points after four rounds allow the Polish national team to be located on the third line and ahead of the closing quartet Wales by three points.
Holland
The match of the third round with Poland turned out to be very difficult for the Netherlands, because it not only lost two points in it, but in general was close to defeat, losing 0-2 in the 49th minute, but two minutes later reduced the gap in the score, and three more leveled it. This misfire was the first for the Netherlands in the current group stage, and currently remains the only one. In the other three rounds, the Netherlands scored nine points, beating Belgium (4-1) and Wales twice (2-1 and 3-2).
Statistics and figures:
- Poland won in one round out of four;
- Holland goes undefeated - 3 wins and a draw;
- The Netherlands has not lost to Poland for ten games.
Forecast
It will be very difficult for the Netherlands, but it must cope with Poland, maybe with a minimum score, and get closer to the playoffs.
