Astralis will play with OG in the first round of the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 group stage. Who will be stronger?
Astralis
Last year turned out to be a failure for Astralis, as there were practically no positive results. After a long dominance, the Danes faced a fall, and they rise with difficulty, and even then not always. In the final two tournaments of the year, Astralis performed at the average level, as a result of which she took 5-6 places at the BLAST Premier World Final 2021 and within the Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals. Now the Danish five ranks eighth in the world ranking.
OG
Before the start of the season, there were a lot of rumors about the permutations in the composition of OG, but only one of the many versions turned out to be true - Aleksib left the team, moving to G2 Esports, and nexa followed in the opposite direction. The rest of the participants are in place, so it shouldn't take much time to improve teamwork. As for the results, they are extremely unstable. The guys from OG could finish ESL Pro League Season 14 in the top four, and then failed at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021, taking 10-12 places.
Forecast
OG has a good squad, but Astralis still has an advantage in this regard, which it should take advantage of by opening the tournament with a victory.
