FaZe Clan will fight BIG in the 1st round of the IEM Winter 2021 group stage. Will the Germans be able to impose a struggle?

The last tournament of the FaZe Clan team was the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021, where it took 5-6 places, having played three matches. In the first I lost 0-2 to Heroic, in the second I beat BIG with a mirror score, and in the third I lost 1-2 to Astralis. "Feyz" have once again proved that they are a strong team that is capable of giving battle to any opponent, but they can hardly count on trophies, since there are at least 3-4 teams that perform better.

It is very difficult to predict the outcome of the BIG team's performance at the upcoming tournament, as it is one of the most unstable in the world. The results are so different from each other that it is impossible to say with full confidence whether the Germans will make a breakthrough, or fail in all respects, having flown out after the group stage. The last BIG tournament was the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2021, where 7-8 places were taken. Before that, the German team took 3-4 places at the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021, second at the DreamHack Open November 2021 and 9-11 at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
Forecast
Both teams are strong middleweights who can give out a match of life today, and lose tomorrow without options, and to a modest opponent. FaZe Clan is the favorite, but BIG is hardly significantly inferior in class, and should take its 11 rounds.
