In the opening match of Group A at the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2023 LAN tournament in Washington, the Russian team Cloud9 will play against the European team G2.

The European team, like the Russian one, came to Washington after not the best performance at IEM Dallas. It so happened that in Dallas, both teams took off from the strong European team FaZe. G2 reached the quarterfinals, where they were defeated in a match of the VO3 format – 16:14 Ancient (opponent's peak); 6:16 Inferno and 10:16 Mirage. This game was on the night of the second to the third of June.
Cloud9
The Russian team, in turn, failed to make it to the playoffs of the tournament in Dallas. Cloud9 reached the final of the lower grid of Group B, where they just stumbled upon FaZe. Cloud9 also imposed a good fight in the VO3 format match, but in the end the guys lost on three maps – 7:16 Mirage (their peak); 16:7 Inferno and 9:16 Ancient.
Cloud9 and G2 last played against each other on April 13 at a LAN tournament in qualifying for the Major in Paris. Then in Copenhagen, in a match of the VO3 G2 format, they won a very confident victory – 16:6 Vertigo (the opponent's peak) and 16:13 Inferno.
Forecast
In this match, G2 is quite rightly considered the bookmakers' favorite. With a competent peak of cards, the European team should still win, but still there may be a fairly stubborn struggle, we suggest you put more than 59.5 rounds on the total.
