In the semifinals of the lower bracket of Group B at the IEM Katowice 2023 LAN tournament, the Russian Outsiders team will play against the European team OG.
OutsidersThe Russian team played far from the best match in the first round of the lower bracket yesterday, however, the Outsiders were still able to achieve victory.
In a match of the VO3 format, Outsiders on three maps won a strong–willed victory over the European team Ninjas in Pyjamas - 5:16 Vertigo (the opponent's peak); 16:12 Overpass and 16:9 Inferno. At the same time, it is worth noting that on the Vertigo Outsiders map they completely failed in the first half of the map, the guys took only one round for the defense side.
OGThe European team, in turn, yesterday failed to show a high-quality game in the semifinals of the upper bracket of group B.
In the match of the VO3 OG format, they lost to the Danish team Heroic on two maps – 10:16 Inferno (their peak) and 12:16 Mirage.
Between themselves, OG and Outsiders last played on the eighth of October in qualifying for the IEM Rio Major 2022. Then, in the match of the VO3 format, the European team won a strong–willed victory on three maps - 13:16 Ancient (its peak); 16:5 Dust2 and 16:13 Inferno.
ForecastIn this match, Outsiders are considered by bookmakers to be a pretty clear favorite.
