Team GamerLegion failed to close the FaZe Clan in the first match, winning 15-13 on the Mirage map and playing for defense, as a result of which they lost on protracted additional rounds (25-28). We managed to win in the second round, but the victory turned out to be unexpectedly difficult - 16:10 over Aurora on the Ancient map. After that, the guys from Team GamerLegion lost 20-22 to Team Spirit at the same Ancient, and in the fourth round they beat 2-1 G2 Esports, leaving NiKo and teammates without a Major.

Before the start of qualifying, it seemed that the Ukrainian B8 team was unlikely to show anything serious, and at best it would take one victory. But in fact, it turns out that she got to the fifth round, in which she will play a ticket to the Major. This happened thanks to two victories - 19:16 over ECSTATIC (Nuke) and 16:9 over Fnatic (Ancient), in addition to which there were two more defeats - 6:16 from Cloud9 (Ancient) and 1-2 from Sprout in bo3 format (16-13 on Nuke, 13-16 on Vertigo and 7-16 on Inferno).

B8 performed well in qualifying, reaching the decisive fifth round, but now the fairy tale must end, since Team GamerLegion is playing even better, having knocked G2 Esports out of the fight in the last round.
