In the fourth round, at the "legends" stage of the tournament in Rio de Janeiro at IEM Major 2022, the Danish team Heroic will play against Liquid from the USA in the playoff match.
HeroicThe Danish team failed yesterday in its first match of the VO3 format for reaching the playoffs. Heroic played a weak match against the Russian team Cloud9 - 9:16 Vertigo (the opponent's peak) and 9:16 Inferno.
At the same time, on both maps, the Danish team failed for the defense side, on the Vertigo map in the first half of the Heroic map only four rounds were taken, and on the Inferno map in the second half of the map only one round was taken for defense.
LiquidThe team from the USA, in turn, held a match of the VO1 format yesterday. Liquid played a hard game on the Ancient map against the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere.
Liquid played very poorly for the attacking side in the first half of the map and lost with a score of 3:12, however, in the second half of the map, the guys added a lot in defense and eventually managed to win with a score of 16:14.
Liquid and Heroic last played against each other on August 27 at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 LAN tournament. In the third round of the knockout match in the BO3 format, the team from the USA showed a very strong game and won a crushing victory – 16:6 Vertigo (its peak) and 16:8 Overpass.
ForecastIn this match, Heroic is considered a small favorite among bookmakers.
However, both teams are not playing very stable now, and also have fairly equal squads. Here it is quite possible to take a risk and bet on Liquid.
