Майкон Маркес Битенкурт, или просто Майкон, родился 18 декабря 1990 года в Дуки-ди-Кашиас, штат Рио-де-Жанейро. Воспитанник футбольной академии клуба “Флуминенсе”.За основной состав “Флу” он дебютировал в 2007 году, однако стабильно играть начал лишь с 2009 года. В начале 2010 года он был отмечен скаутами московского “Локомотива” и в начале марта того же года уже подписал контракт с “железнодорожниками” сроком на 4,5 года. Российский клуб заплатил за футболиста 4 миллиона евро.
В составе “Локо” он дебютировал спустя 10 дней после подписания контракта в матче Премьер-лиги против самарских “Крыльев Советов”. Первый гол в России забил лишь в мае, забив гол в ворота “Амкара”. Также дебютировал в Лиге Европы. Сезон 2013/2014 стал наиболее успешным для него и его команды, когда “Локомотив” завоевал бронзовые награды национального первенства.
Выступал за сборную Бразилии U20, в составе которой сыграл на чемпионате мира 2009, где сыграл 6 матчей, забил 2 гола. Бразильцы тогда проиграли в финальном матче сборной Гане в серии пенальти. Свой пенальти в той серии Майкон не забил.
